 4 Days trek in High Atlas Morocco 

Impressive views of green valleys such as High Atlas valleys , discovery of the Berber culture in the villages, refreshing baths in the rivers … this is what this hike in the Atlas promises. Four days on the highest peaks of North Africa, a delight for mountain lovers and walking! You will follow at your own pace the perfectly studied itinerary of your travel log and find your cook, as well as your muleteer at every step. A most enjoyable privilege after a day of trekking in the Moroccan Atlas. To escape and recharge your batteries, this is what we offer you with this hike in the Atlas

itinerary :

Day 1: Transfer from Marrakech – Oukaimeden – Trek to Ouanskra

Transfer from your hotel in Marrakech or from the airport (if morning flight) to the place of meeting with your Berber team (cook and muleteers), near the Oukaïmeden after crossing the valley of Ourika which leads to The mountains of the High Atlas. Lunch break, then you head towards Tizi n’Addi (2930m). Once up there, the splendid panoramic view of the Toubkal massif sets the tone of the journey. Then, downhill in the valley of Tachdirt. The natural setting dotted with Berber villages is exceptional. Night in GuestHouse  in the village  (2100m 3 h walk).

The journey time is approximately 2 hours

Day 2: Hike to Aremd

After breakfast, you will trek to the Tamatert pass at an altitude of 2300m by a charming lace path. On the way, discover the local life with the Berber villages of Tamguiste & Tinoughrine. After the pass and its breathtaking view of the valley, a short descent towards Imlil and Aremd.

Dinner and overnight  in Aremd village at 1900m above sea level,

About 4-5 hours walk.

Day 3:  Aremd-Hike to Tizi Oussem

After breakfast, you pass the virgin pass of Tizi n’Tzikert at 2900m of altitude to reach the sheepfolds of Azibs Tamsoult, at 2300m, at the foot of the circus of Tazaraght. Here the river invites to a refreshing swim, notice to the amateurs! The descent continues along the Oued towards the lodging of Tizi Oussem at 1850m altitude. Dinner and Overnight at Tizi Oussem village

Day 4: Tizi Oussem – Hiking to Imi Noughlad – transfer to Marrakech

Discover the villages and terraced cultivation along the green valley of Azaden, before reaching the pass of Tizi n’Tacht at 2150m. Descent through a forest of holm oaks to the village of Imi n’Ughlad at 1400 m altitude. Cross the village along the river to reach the paved road and the meeting point of your minibus for a transfer back to Marrakech, 5H walk, Driving time: about 1 hour
