day trip from marrakech to atlas mountains & Camel Ride

The highest mountain range in North Africa, the High Atlas has many fertile valleys, snow covered peaks, rivers and waterfalls. Approximately one hour’s drive from Marrakech, the Atlas can be visited as a day trip or part of a longer itinerary. There are some fabulous walks available in the region, through local villages or into the hills
Itinerary :
Pick up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 9am and drive through Houze plain, magical views of the high Atlas Mountains. Then meet your guide and camels and start riding through a juniper forest, stunning view of Asni villages and High Atlas mountains. You will be riding for 1 Hour, then meet your driver again nearby in the village of Asni and drive to Imlil (1,740m), a village in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Enjoy a trek around the Berber villages (lunch and tea at local Berber Guesthouse ), before being driven back to Marrakech in the late afternoon.
